Job Title: Structural Drafter
Job Description
As a structural drafter, you will be instrumental in designing precast structures for a variety of projects, including parking structures, hospitals, warehouse facilities, commercial office buildings, educational institutions, data centers, and justice facilities. You will be primarily working within the concrete precast department, shaping the structural integrity and functionality of significant constructions.
Hard Skills
Associate Degree in Drafting and Design (Civil/Arch focused)
Proficient in 2D AutoCAD
Knowledge of Revit (preferred)
Ability to read specifications and plans
1 year of professional Architectural/Structural Design experience outside of schooling.
Soft Skills
This role will be starting out doing 2D AutoCAD and the next promotion point would be to a 3d designer/modeler.
Desire to learn new software (Revit)
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position 5 days a week in Omaha, Nebraska.
Work Environment
This role is based in a cubicle office environment within a lively area close to restaurants and social spots, located in Aksarban Village. The position is strictly in-office with a high-tech setup, operating within a family-like atmosphere. Business casual attire is the norm, shifting to casual on Fridays. Working hours are from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with no overtime. The company offers flexible PTO but does not provide the option for remote work.
