Actalent Electrical Engineer in Pasadena, California
Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for various Electrical Engineering tasks, including board layouts, troubleshooting in the lab, electrical design, and documentation.
Responsibilities
Design and layout printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in the lab.
Develop and document electrical designs.
Collaborate with the team to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on design.
Proficiency in using ECAD packages (Altium preferred, but open to Eagle, ORCAD, etc.).
Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multi-meters.
Knowledge of high-speed digital design concepts.
Experience with MIL Spec standards.
Understanding of embedded systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BS EE).
Proficient with Altium.
Knowledge of Altium Concord is preferred.
Experience with FPGA and DDR SDRAM is preferred.
Aerospace or aviation experience is preferred, but a strong interest in space applications is a must.
Work Environment
The team currently has more programs than engineers on staff, offering a unique opportunity to work on products that will be launched into space every four weeks. These products are integral to multiple programs, including lunar and Mars missions. With a smaller team, candidates will have the chance to work on the full product life cycle, from design to deployment.
