Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer

Job Description

Located in Muncie, IN- Join our team as a Manufacturing Process Engineer and play a pivotal role in a leading global tier one supplier. With 41 manufacturing sites across 12 countries, our Muncie, Indiana location stands out as the sole internal supplier of forgings used within engine structures. As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting process improvements, investigating downtimes, and spearheading quality initiatives. Your role will involve enhancing operational efficiencies and participating in plant meetings, customer solutioning, and potential leadership activities.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelors of Engineering (Preference BSME, but MET also works. IE if very relevant experience)

  • 3-8 years of post graduation work experience

  • Job Shop/Machining/Forging type manufacturing experience

  • Continuous improvement, process improvement, quality investigations experience

  • Strong communication skills

Nice to Haves:

  • Any leadership experience

  • Forging experience

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 8 Months.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Muncie, Indiana.

Work Environment

The work environment involves working in a forging facility with large presses and equipment for melting metal. The environment can become hot during summer months.
