Job Title: Validation Engineer - Project Engineer (TPL)Job Description

Join our Power Electronic Systems & Components team, where innovation thrives in the realm of power electronics technology for electric drive vehicles and next generation power electronic modules for stationary applications. As a Validation Engineer, you will perform testing and contribute to the development of power electronic components. You will play a crucial role in supporting our dynamic team through New Technology Introduction (NTI), New Product Introduction (NPI), and Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) processes. This role involves acting as a subject matter expert to aid Project Leads and Design Engineers in validation of their components, ensuring robust product performance and stable production. Your responsibilities will include assessing and planning work to mitigate risk, creating high-level validation plans, hosting collaboration workshops, and ensuring quality approval of FMEA/DVP&R with design managers. You will also project long-term testing needs and provide oversight to ensure adherence to APQP standards.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, etc.)

  • FMEA

  • Testing/validation experience

  • Planning/designing of testing procedures

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • High voltage experience

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Mossville, Illinois and some days remote.

Work Environment

The role is based in Mossville, IL, at our Building AC. The position is primarily onsite, involving some lab work but mostly desk/office tasks. The work environment is highly collaborative, requiring frequent interaction with team members and other departments.
