Job Title: Clinical Research CoordinatorJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator with a strong background in oncology to join our team. The role involves developing and implementing recruitment strategies, overseeing multiple sites, and ensuring the progress of clinical trials. The coordinator will manage patient recruitment, screening, and enrollment, and will be responsible for reporting adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies for clinical trials.

  • Oversee multiple trial sites and ensure smooth progress.

  • Recruit, screen, and enroll patients into clinical studies.

  • Report adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs).

  • Conduct chart reviews and pre-screen patients.

  • Provide study oversight and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain high standards of clinical research, adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols.

Work Environment

The position offers a combination of clinical and office settings, with a fast-paced and high-volume workload involving both industry and investigator studies. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, starting around 8:30am/9:00am, totaling 40 hours a week. The coordinator will work closely with a renowned physician, contributing to significant research projects. After establishing rapport, there may be flexibility to work from home. The role is based on a large campus and involves working with a smaller team supported by a large institution.
