Actalent Clinical Research Technician in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Job Title: Clinical Research TechnicianJob Description
This role involves rotating through three shifts, including a weekend shift every other week. Shift start times vary: 1st shift from 5 AM to 7 AM, 2nd shift from 2 PM to 4 PM, and 3rd shift from 10 PM to 12 Midnight. Schedules are typically set 2-3 weeks in advance. The Clinical Research Technician will collaborate with Clinical Research Nurses and Clinical Research Coordinators to manage Phase I Clinical Trials. Key responsibilities include performing accurate medical readings, preparing and recording ECGs/Holters, collecting and processing biological samples, monitoring dietary compliance of research participants, assisting in room and equipment preparation, participating in screening procedures, maintaining a clean and efficient work environment, establishing respectful relationships with study participants, recording research data, assisting with quality control of documents, maintaining regulatory knowledge, and ensuring participant safety and confidentiality.

Work Environment
The candidate will work in Fortrea's Phase I Clinical Research Unit in Madison, WI. This dynamic and critical role requires flexibility in hours and a commitment to participant safety and research integrity.
