Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Description
Join our team as a Civil Engineer to manage a variety of projects including water resources, site development, and infrastructure enhancements, particularly for urban sites. This role involves both creating new infrastructure and contributing to school additions. You will navigate the development approval process, adhering to jurisdiction requirements such as MDE for water resources, SWM, and Baltimore County development processes. Your work will mainly focus on public projects rather than major municipal contracts or subdivisions.
Hard Skills
0-5 years of land development design experience across various verticals (e.g., WRE, Transportation)
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Knowledge in Site Development, Water Resources, and Land Development
Soft Skills
Ability to multitask and wear multiple hats
Interest in professional growth within the field
Capability to handle multiple jurisdictions
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Phoenix, Maryland and some days remote.
Work Environment
Our office environment includes 30 professionals divided into four multidisciplinary work groups, each led by a group leader. We foster a fast-paced environment that balances intense workdays with social activities, such as baseball outings and chili cookouts. The office is beautifully designed to enhance your working experience. We operate on a core hours policy with flexibility in scheduling, especially during the summer, without demanding long overtime hours.
