Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
Join our Advanced Planning Team in Pontiac to drive innovation and efficiency in our manufacturing processes. This role involves capital procurement, process development for new product lines, and daily support of manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for standard work reviews, troubleshooting, coordinating part logistics, and ensuring adherence to process controls and plans. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in capital projects, including spec’ing out equipment, collaborating with suppliers, and overseeing the installation of production manufacturing equipment. Your typical day will start on the production floor, overseeing around 30 machines, interacting with operators and managers to identify issues, and working on continuous improvement of quality and cost.

This is a fully on-site position in Pontiac, Illinois.
Work Environment
The position is in-person, 5 days a week, on the manufacturing floor in Pontiac, involving direct interaction with the operations team and equipment. The role requires proactive engagement in improving processes and a hands-on approach to addressing daily operational challenges.
