Actalent Data Scientist in Raleigh, North Carolina
Description:
Actalent Engineering is looking for Data Scientist to work on data science initiatives. In this role, you will be expected to work security and vulnerability related data processed, developing and improving the threat detection mechanisms leveraging various anomaly detection AI/ML models. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the various domains of information technology including, but not limited to, development, data science, data analysis, security, and/or big-data solutions. The candidate will work independently and with other team members to design, deploy, improve, and support solutions for security event detection, analysis, incident response, investigations, and forensics.
The following technologies are in scope for the position.
Python
Experience with Jupyter Notebooks
Knowledge of data science tools and ML models
Scripting using regular expressions
Familiarity with cloud solutions (AWS, Google, Azure)
BS/MS in computer/data science or related degree
Addition Qualifications
Data Science and Security Certifications
Ability to develop automation scripts using various tools and technologies (ansible, terraform etc.)
