Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a talented Controls Engineer to join our team. As a Controls Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to assist in getting projects up to speed. This includes contributing to the creation of a new product involving Servo motors and safety proc sensors. Your role will also involve hands-on controls troubleshooting of PLCs and equipment in the shop, which includes electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting. You will be expected to collaborate with various departments such as engineering, sales, and procurement to ensure controls projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will also assist with building complex automated systems for customers, monitor system effectiveness, provide troubleshooting support on new machine builds, and repair machinery on site.

Bachelors or Associates in engineering-related discipline preferred; High School Diploma required
Experience performing hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
Experience writing PLCs from scratch, including Allen Bradley (required) and Siemens (preferred)

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Rock Island, Illinois.
Work Environment
Our office is situated in an industrial park. The work environment is clean, quiet, and provides each engineer with their own workspace for completing drawings and designs. Onsite travel is infrequent, but can be expected occasionally. In this role you will have the ability to run own projects and help in creating a home grown system for new product line
