Description:
Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of Existing Conditions, Preliminary Design, Schematic Design, and Construction Drawings and Documents, including specifications, throughout the project life cycle
Perform Zoning Ordinance and Building Code analyses and apply the provisions of these items as they affect compliance depicted within the Construction Documents
Provide testimony before local Planning and Zoning boards
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience primarily in NJ and NY
BS in Civil Engineering, with 5-10 years of continuous and progressively expanding relevant design experience in Structural Engineering
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office are required
Strong knowledge of applicable PA, NJ & NY building and design codes and also be knowledgeable in the AISC, ACI, ASCE 7, TIA-EIA 222, and ASCE 10
Strong skills in structural analytical software programs, such as STAAD III and AutoCAD
Experience managing projects and employees
Master’s Degree in engineering preferred
