Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an individual with either entry-level or a few years of experience in Controls Engineering or Electrical Engineering to fill the role of Controls Engineer. In this position, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems to support manufacturing processes and optimize efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives
Design, develop, and implement control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes
Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems
Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure performance and reliability
Provide technical support and assistance to production teams as needed
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in controls engineering technologies
Qualifications:
For Entry-Level Candidates:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Familiarity with PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic) is a plus
For Candidates with a Few Years of Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in controls engineering or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI development
Strong understanding of electrical and control systems
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
