Job Description
Responsibilities include engineering release of subsystem designs, developing and capturing knowledge through various technical documents, managing design trade-offs, and coordinating prototype build plans for design evaluation. The role involves extensive collaboration with cross-functional team members and leading technical design previews.
Hard Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
6+ years of experience in engineering product development
Proficient in Creo
Experienced in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Ability to update BOMs
Skilled in releasing engineering drawings
Experience with consumer or industrial products
Soft Skills
Strong project management skills
Ability to coach and mentor
Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Saint Joseph, Michigan.
Work Environment
Onsite at the St. Joseph Tech Center, Monday - Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week and no overtime.
