Actalent Microbiology Lab Technician in Saint Louis, Missouri
Job Description: Join a dynamic team where you will engage in project-based microbiology testing. This role involves assisting customers with internal microbiology issues and conducting a variety of tests including pathogen testing for salmonella and listeria. You will also prepare microbiological media and reagents, practice aseptic techniques, and cross-train in chemistry testing. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in traditional micro plating, PCR, and ELISA.
Skills:
Microbiological media and reagent preparation
Aseptic technique
Using general micro equipment such as incubators, autoclave, pH meter, scales etc.
Traditional micro plating
PCR
ELISA
Pathogen testing such as Salmonella, Listeria, E.coli
Excel and PowerPoint
Work Environment:
Lab work environment
