Sutter Health: Palo Alto Medical Foundation Flu Clinic - Medical Assistant
Job Description:
This role will be a support role in the flu and covid clinic for the community. They will act as a support function to licensed vocational nurses and nurses in the administration of flu vaccines and covid vaccines to the general public. On a daily basis they will stationed at the Burlingame, Palo Alto, or San Carlos site and seeing between 500-800 patients per day. They will also be documenting information in EPIC, checking in patients, restocking vaccines and materials, and doing general clinic duties.
Contract: This position is a 6 month contract to start with Actalent services. Once completed you will be eligible for an extension/full time employment with Sutter.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8am to 5pm. Thursday 10am - 7pm. OT avaible for employees who want to pick up shifts on the weekends
Locations: San Carlos, Palo Alto, Burlingame. MUST BE OPEN TO ALL LOCATIONS
Requirements:
Highschool Diploma/GED
Completion of MA Program
BLS with American Heart Association
6 months of MA experience (not including externship)
