Actalent Security Compliance Certification Engineer in San Jose, California
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with information security certifications (ISO 27001, SOC 2, C5) o Has managed the end to end process for getting certifications from planning for the whole year, conducting internal audits, getting our teams ready for third party external audit, driving the third party audit, and working with teams to handle any remediation activities o Understand the current requirements of the security certifications. o Good understanding of industry regulations like NIST, CSA, GDPR, any other privacy regulations • Prior experience managing security certifications is a must • Exposure to security requirements in cloud business models like Software-as-a Service • Overall understanding of security within application and infrastructure areas – web applications, containers, virtual machines, network devices, etc. • Understanding of a wide range of security technologies, such as network security appliances, identity and access management systems, anti-malware solutions, file integrity monitoring system, security scanning tools, etc. • FedRAMP experience a plus • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences • Must be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a "can-do” attitude • Ability to multitask, prioritize, coordinate, work well under pressure and meet deadlines • Ability to effectively and rapidly adapt to changing environments and situations • Must be able to and willing to work independently with minimal amount of supervision • Experience in managing assigned projects and collaborating with other teams in different time zones
