Job Title: Analytical Chemist
Job Description
We are seeking an Analytical Chemist to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical support to our Method Transfer and Development Group as well as our Quality Control Labs. You will be responsible for performing basic wet chemistry and chromatography methods on our various products. You may also be called upon to support new products coming to our site if needed. All work will be performed according to GMP documentation and guidelines.
Hard Skills
Basic wet chemistry methods
HPLC experience
UV - Spectrophotometer
1 - 2 years of GMP Pharma experience running methods in a GMP lab
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Sanford, North Carolina.
Work Environment
This role is based in a large pharmaceutical manufacturing organization that focuses on vaccine and gene therapy manufacturing. You will be working with a team that consists of around 10 people, as well as the QC lab team which consists of 15+ individuals across 2 shifts. The position is 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with hours from 8 am to 5 pm. Occasional weekend work may be required, but is not likely.
