Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description
Join our dedicated team as a Medical Assistant, providing crucial support in our flu and COVID clinic for the community. You will support licensed vocational nurses and nurses in administering flu and COVID vaccines to the general public. Your daily responsibilities include being stationed at the Soquel site, handling 500-800 patient visits per day, documenting information in EPIC, patient check-ins, restocking vaccines and materials, and performing general clinic duties.
Hard Skills
6+ months of medical assisting experience
CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
Medical Assisting Certificate
Soft Skills
- Experience in handling vaccines, preferably pediatric
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 26 Week(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Soquel, California.
Work Environment
Outpatient clinic supporting flu efforts. The Soquel site operates year-round as a flagship vaccine and testing site, with three additional seasonal pop-up locations within PAMF locations.
