Job Title: Project ManagementJob Description
As the primary contact and liaison for owner and principle partner entities, this role oversees contract, design, systems, procedures, and related deliverables. The position involves developing project-specific procedures and documentation, consulting on design and construction contracts, and contributing creative constructability ideas to reduce cost and time exposure. The role requires a functional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure compliance with construction/project requirements. Responsibilities also include managing data, communications, and approvals, representing the project in public forums, leading project meetings, coordinating activities of construction management staff and related entities, reviewing field work quality and safety practices, managing bid phase services, and coordinating project closeout.
Hard Skills
6-10 years of total construction management experience
Bachelor's Degree in related field, or CCM
Project Management experience - Owner's Rep, GC experience
Experience in 'Ground-up' construction
Experience in DSA/K-14 Education projects or Public Works/Municipal projects
Certifications in LEED, DBIA, CCM preferred
Soft Skills
Ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders
Strong coordination and documentation skills
Excellent communication and representation skills
Leadership and team management
Quality control and safety oversight

This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Santa Monica, California.
Work Environment
On-site 5 days a week at Santa Monica Community College in the dedicated construction administration building.
