Phlebotomist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled phlebotomist to join our STD testing center. As an essential part of our team, you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service and show compassion in potentially difficult situations, such as informing patients of positive test results. You must be comfortable working in a high-volume, walk-in clinic setting, as our site sees around 200 patients per day. Bilingual candidates are preferred. A minimum of 1 year phlebotomy experience is required.

Hard Skills

  • MA Certificate or Phlebotomy Certificate

  • 1+ years of phlebotomy experience

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional customer service

  • Compassion

  • Comfortable in high-volume environment

  • Bilingual preferred

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Work Environment

The position is based in a primary care clinic, providing outpatient services. The working hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. You will be working alongside two other phlebotomists at this location.
