Actalent Plating Technician in STATE COLLEGE, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Plating TechnicianJob Description

The Plating Technician will be responsible for ensuring that products meet customer and internal requirements and documenting the results of all actions. This individual will need to communicate findings proactively and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate findings proactively and in a timely manner

  • Support engineering or technical prototyping

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years working in a manufacturing testing environment

  • 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Excel/Word

  • Experience in manufacturing testing

  • Experience supporting engineering or technical prototyping

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Engineering or another technical discipline

  • Experience with electronics or ceramics testing

Work Environment

This individual will be working 1st shift in the plating department, with hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The department will be growing quickly, but this person will need to work with little to no supervision and be comfortable learning all of the systems engineering uses. Training will be provided for technical work. This is an essential business role with exposure to technical specifications and working directly with engineering staff.
