Actalent Project Engineer in Sugar Grove, Illinois
Job Description:
Prepare Engineering Estimates and Development Plans
Lead engineering project teams in respect to budget, schedule and ensure quality deliveries
Execute the engineering development plan, which includes identifying and anticipating problems that could hinder or adversely limit the project's objectives
Work with other departments such as Program Management, Certification, Safety & Reliability, Quality and Manufacturing
Maintain the engineering work standards and processes
Evaluation of technical risk, mitigation and contingency
Produce and present progress reports for management review
Maintain technical expertise
Support continuous product improvements and innovation
Be responsible for the organization, coordination, and control of all stages of assigned projects.
The Project engineer plays a pivotal role in project development by being the main interface between the Engineering team and other groups. Projects involve hardware and software development of certified, non-certified and military aircraft systems.
