Actalent Pharmacy Clerk in Tampa, Florida

Job Title: Pharmacy ClerkJob Description

As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will be at the forefront of our pharmacy operations, primarily focusing on data entry and managing phone communications with members and providers to convey decisions on prior authorizations—approved, denied, or needing additional information. Beyond data entry, your role extends to faxing and printing documents related to these authorizations. You will assist the staff in various tasks to ensure proper workflow and meeting tight deadlines within the pharmacy department. Additionally, you will partake in rotating responsibilities, including mailroom activities and outbound calls to members.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tampa, Florida.

Work Environment

This position is onsite in a professional call-center setting, working alongside two other clerks in a quiet environment. You will have two potential shifts to choose from: Tuesday – Friday from 11:30 AM to 8 PM and Saturday from 9:30 AM to 6 PM, or Monday – Thursday from 11:30 AM to 8 PM and Sunday from 9:30 AM to 6 PM. Training is provided in the first week from Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6 PM.
