Job Title: Clinical Specialist (Remote Pharmacist)
Job Description
As a Clinical Specialist, you will manage the accessibility, quality, and cost-effectiveness of drug and medical therapy for members and providers.
This role involves providing clinical support services to contracted client plans, including clinical review, analysis, recommendation, decision, and documentation of various requests such as prior authorization, medical exception, and appeal requests as per client contracts and Utilization Management delegation agreements.
Responsible for reviewing medication request guidelines, assisting in revising and creating new or existing guidelines, providing drug information support, and researching clinical literature to support authorization decisions.
Coordinate and assist in the preparation of utilization and compliance reporting, ensure timely preparation and review of plan data and client presentations, and provide in-service education to Prior Authorization Coordinators.

Work Environment
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm Guam time, which corresponds to 4pm-12am PST or 1pm-9pm in Hawaii.
