Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where you will be responsible for rooming patients, recording vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.

You will also stock exam/treatment rooms, order supplies, obtain blood specimens, answer phone calls for referrals, schedule patient tests, procedures, hospital admissions, and manage follow-up appointments based on test results.

Your role also includes performing administrative duties such as typing, filing, faxing, and reception tasks.

Hard Skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in The Woodlands, Texas.

Work Environment

Hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, or until the last patient is seen, Monday to Friday with no weekends.

The position is based at two locations which are a short walk from each other, and occasionally requires floating to another nearby location.

You will be part of a team of 7 Medical Assistants, supporting 8 Physicians, working closely with one of the busiest medical oncologists who specializes in managing cancer treatment plans, therapies, and overall patient care.
