Superintendent
Job Description
Seeking a passionate and experienced Superintendent who thrives in the construction field to lead on-site activities for successful project delivery. This role involves managing all field activities for projects of varying sizes, ensuring the quality and timeliness of subcontractor work, and coordinating closely with the Project Manager for project start-up, scheduling, and close-out. The successful candidate will maintain and organize project documents, manage the construction schedule, and implement necessary quality and safety procedures.

Experience with Blue Beam
OSHA 30 certification
Experience with new construction projects above $30 million
Ability to manage project schedules and budgets
Proficiency in maintaining and organizing project contract documents
Independent responsibility management
Strong coordination and collaboration skills
Effective problem-solving and decision-making
Ability to communicate and enforce quality and safety standards
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
Work Environment
Field-based role in Virginia Beach with a family-oriented team environment. The position involves typical construction hours exceeding 40 hours per week, with flexibility in schedule management. The role involves collaboration with Project Managers, reporting to the Project Executive, and support from project coordinators.
