Job Title: Sr. EngineerJob Description
In this role, you will be responsible for designing schematic layouts, specifying electronic systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will work with various communication systems and determine appropriate wire sizing for different current requirements.
Responsibilities
Design schematic layouts including front-end concepting, block diagrams, and wiring diagrams using CREO Cabling, AUTOCAD Electrical, and Creo.
Specify electronic systems and components.
Work with communication systems and protocols such as CAN and MODBUS.
Determine correct wire sizes based on specific current requirements.
Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure products meet UL and CE standards.
Essential Skills
Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 7 years of experience working with electronic backgrounds using AutoCAD Electrical.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing, including writing test requirements and designing test plans.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with CREO Cabling and Creo.
Familiarity with communication protocols like CAN and MODBUS.
Hands-on testing experience is optional but preferred.
Work Environment
You will be part of a home standby-focused group, primarily working on projects related to consumer power and electronics for generators. As tasks are completed, you will move on to other projects within the expanding Consumer Power product line.
