Actalent Manufacturing Engineer in Westminster, Maryland

Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description

Join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer, where you will design and implement effective, efficient, and safe tooling, provide and maintain work instructions, and evaluate and improve manufacturing processes. Your role will also involve keeping equipment operational through coordinating maintenance, supporting quality improvement and cost reduction teams, participating in cell level problem solving, and improving manufacturing efficiency. Furthermore, you will complete design and development projects by training and guiding technicians and participate in PFMEA development.

Hard Skills

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and tool design

  • CAD Experience, 3D modeling

  • Technical writing/spreadsheet creation

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Understanding of Pneumatics/Hydraulics component functionality

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing

  • Autocad experience

  • 2-3 Years experience minimum
