Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Description
As a Phlebotomist, you will ensure all field phlebotomy and Patient Service Center (PSC) specimens are collected accurately and on time. You will collect specimens according to established procedures and provide clear explanations to patients about the venipuncture process or other specimen collection as required. Your role involves reducing patient anxiety by providing a calm environment before, during, and after the collection process. You will dispose of blood or other biohazard fluids or tissue in compliance with applicable laws and policies, complete requisitions accurately, and enter patient and specimen information into our computer system with high attention to detail. Your responsibilities also include researching test/client information using our lab computer system, matching laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes, and handling specimens appropriately according to test orders. You will maintain required records and documentation, assist with monthly statistics and data compilation, perform basic clerical duties, and adhere to our dress code and professional standards.

This is a fully on-site position in Wichita, Kansas.
Work Environment
You will work in a dynamic environment where maintaining patient flow is crucial. Work hours are from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m..
