Job Description

Seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team to perform a variety of tasks including patient intake, documenting medical history accurately, triage, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and assisting in various medical procedures. Responsibilities also include managing temperature logs, QA processes, and compliance with OSHA policies. The role requires completing pharmaceutical prior authorizations, handling phone triage for medication refills, and performing Medicare Annual Wellness Visits. Additionally, the candidate will manage exam room preparations and electronic input of patient lab and radiology orders.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Work Environment

The position is based at a fast-paced medical practice. Daily shift is from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break, serving a patient volume of 70-85 across three providers.
